This Privacy Policy explains how EVL PPY SRL ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use the Comic Book Studio app ("App"). We are the data controller.

Data created when you use the App:
To turn your photos and stories into comics, we send them to third-party AI services. The App asks for your permission before your first photo is sent.
These providers process your content to return a result to us. We do not use your photos to train AI models. Images the App generates carry metadata that marks them as AI-generated.
We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
Your uploaded photos and generated comics are stored on Google Cloud. They are not listed publicly, but anyone who has the exact web link to an image can open it. Do not share those links with people you do not trust.
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's permission. You may only upload a photo of a child if you are their parent or guardian or have their permission; the App asks you to confirm this when it detects a child in a photo. If you believe a child's data was given to us without permission, contact mobile@evlppy.com and we will delete it.
We keep your account, photos, characters and comics until you delete them or your account. Comics you delete stay in "Recently deleted" for 7 days so you can restore them, and are then permanently deleted. After account deletion we keep only an anonymous record for your device that notes it already used its free offer, so the free offer can't be claimed again by deleting and re-creating the account; it contains no name, email, photos or comics and is kept for as long as the App is available. Your credits and their history are deleted with your account. Records of your purchases and subscriptions are held by Google Play, the App Store and RevenueCat, as tax and accounting law requires. Analytics and crash data are kept according to the retention settings of the services listed above.

Accounts deleted in the App are permanently deleted after those 7 days. For email requests, we delete your account, uploaded photos, characters and comics within 30 days, except the minimal record described in section 7. Deleting the App from your phone does not delete your account.
We only send you news and offers if you agreed to them, for example by ticking "Email me news, tips and offers" when creating an account or by signing up for updates in the App. If you have an account, we also send account emails, such as for resetting your password. Every email has an unsubscribe link, which sends us your request by email; you can also write to mobile@evlppy.com. You can turn push notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to mobile@evlppy.com. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro) or the authority in your country.
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure.
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the App.
